The Halo 3 Tournament starts today, yes!, read on to find out more:
Microsoft has opened the doors to its official European Halo 3 tournament today as it bids to find the best player of its Xbox 360 acclaimed first-person shooter.
Gamers keen to take part can sign up to the tournament by clicking on the notice featured on the Xbox Live Dashboard and downloading the free GamerPic.
Once registered, players will take part in three game modes that make up the tournament - Slayer, King of the Hill and Oddball.
All players can take part in open play, which runs from March 18 to 30, and after that the top ranked players from each European country will be crowned Halo 3 National Champion and will receive an exclusive piece of framed Halo artwork as a reward.
National Champions will then go on to the European Final, where top players from across the continent will battle in a one-off Xbox Live match.
Among the prizes available will be a Samsung Crystal Design 40" FHD Television and an Xbox 360 Elite console.

WII: PAY TO PLAY ONLINE- DETAILS!

At the recent GDC 2008, Nintendo announced the new Pay To Play service- which generally means, in times to come- you will have to pay to go online with some games on the Wii! But don't worry if you don't want to pay, you don't have to buy the game and you can tell if it is Pay To Play if it has a logo, like the Wi-Fi logo but it is orange...
GRRR! Nintendo, we thought you were the kind ones....lol

A New Halo 3 Multiplayer Map has been revealed and called...Ghost Town.
The Map is part of the new Legendary Map Pack which is due to come out in the spring. It has been described as 'one of the most detailed maps yet' and to be not massive but a reasonable size to play in!

APB (All Points Bulletin) has been announced for Xbox 360 and PC. What Is It You Say? Well it's a MMO Game, and I know what your thinking but there is no elfs and goblins and stuff! It's like GTA, but MMO! WOW! Below is a description of the game by IGN.com:
Developed by David Jones, creator on the Grand Theft Auto series, this APB is a massively multiplayer online game based in living, breathing cities replicated from famous locales all over the world. APB is a turf war involving two main factions -- the Squads, whose goal is to uphold the law, and the Gangs, who seek to break the law at all costs. Players will be able to choose their side -- the Gangs are all about graffiti, attitude, custom cars and earning cash any way they can.; the Squads stand for honor, teamwork, firepower and destroying the Gangs. APB provides the player with the complete customization options from their weapons, vehicles and clothes to their attitude, music and environment.
Doesn't that sound cool? It is scheduled to be released sometime this year worldwide.
